1. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate registration information, including a valid email address and phone number. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at enquiries@relaion.ca if you suspect unauthorized access.

Accounts are for a single person. You may not share one login across multiple people who each need their own access.

2. Plans, subscriptions and cancellation

• Plan features, animal limits, and pricing are shown in the app and on our pricing page, and may vary by region.
• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase. Whether the billing period is monthly or annual depends on the plan and billing cycle you select.
• You can cancel renewal at any time from Account & Billing. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period; you keep access to your paid plan until that date, after which your account reverts to the Free plan.
• Cancellation does not normally generate a refund or credit for the unused part of the billing period. Each purchase is eligible for a 14-day refund window from its order date; after that window, purchases are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law or is permitted or approved under Paddle's applicable Refund Policy. • Upgrades take effect immediately and may be charged on a prorated basis for the remainder of the current period. Downgrades between paid plans take effect at your next renewal.
• We may change prices or plan features with reasonable advance notice. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms.

3. Introductory access

We may grant introductory access to additional features at no charge. Introductory access requires no payment details and does not become a paid subscription: no charge is made when it ends and your account simply continues on the Free plan unless you actively purchase a paid plan. Introductory access may be limited (for example, one per phone number) and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. Only paid subscriptions purchased through Paddle renew automatically.

4. Payments and Merchant of Record

Our payment and order process is provided by Paddle. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for purchases processed through Paddle and handles payment processing, applicable taxes, invoices/receipts and payment-related buyer support. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy. We never store your card details.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful, misleading, or harmful.
• Attempt to access other users' data, probe or breach security, or bypass plan limits and access controls.
• Copy, resell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission.
• Upload malware, spam, or content you do not have the right to upload, including photos of other people without consent.
• Interfere with or place unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice where the violation is serious.

6. Your content and data

You own the farm and animal records, notes, and photos you add to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, store, back up, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you.

You are responsible for the accuracy of Your Content and for keeping your own copies of anything critical to your operation. You can delete individual records, or delete your entire account and its data, from your Profile at any time.

7. Not veterinary advice

RelaiOn Goat Tracker is a record-keeping and reminder tool. It does not provide veterinary, medical, nutritional, or regulatory advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified veterinarian. Reminders, due dates, and calculations (for example vaccination intervals or kidding dates) are estimates based on the information you enter. Always confirm treatment decisions and compliance requirements with your veterinarian and local authorities.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access. During pilot and early-access periods, features may change more frequently.

9. Our intellectual property and ownership

The RelaiOn Goat Tracker™ application, including its original software, application design, graphics, text, and other original content, is owned by or licensed to Relaion Inc., except for third-party materials, which remain owned by their respective owners.

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and the name "RelaiOn Goat Tracker", belongs to us and our licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is in good standing.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost livestock, lost revenue, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or CAD $100.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and your data is deleted in line with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When changes are material, we will notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after the update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
